Summer, 2002.
As a sub-unit of 2d Section, Belgian Independant Parachute Squadron (SAS), Groupe G and T Section can be found at living history events and battle re-enactments throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Just as there existed agents and resistants from all walks of life, there are many roles in our re-enactment organisation, such as field operative/organiser, wireless operator, saboteur, sabotage trainer, field courier, forger, radio message handler, trainer, wireless technician, camouflage artist, and tailor. There are no uniforms to buy, no rare insignia to acquire; just ask us, and we’ll set you on the way! Our goals are simple - have fun and be accurate. We are open to new ideas based on good research, and welcome any who share our goals. Come join us in learning about the men and women of World War Two’s shadow world! For more information, please contact: Bob & Kass McGann-Davis This recreated version of the SOE’s Belgian Section is dedicated to the memories of all those who served their countrymen during World War Two. |
